From our own test, Oct 2026

  • 3.55 businesses named per ChatGPT answer, on average (20 GTA trade questions)
  • 24% of names were the same when the same question was asked twice (BrightLocal measured 23%)
  • Every answer used live web search, and the sources it cited were directories and "best of" lists like HomeStars and ProScore, plus business websites

20 answers from ChatGPT's free plan in temporary chats. A small test, labeled as one.

What's in the report

I ask the questions your customers ask, for your trade and your city, and record every business the AI names and every source it cites. Then I check where those businesses are listed, reviewed and described, next to you, and turn the gaps into a 30-day plan. Researched and reviewed within 48 hours.

Who AI names

3 customer questions for your trade and city, each asked twice with live web search. Every business named, and how often.

What it cites

The directories, lists and websites the answers point to, counted. These are the places worth being on.

You next to them

HomeStars, BBB, Yelp, ProScore, Three Best Rated, and Google, Bing and Apple maps profiles; review counts; the ESA or TSSA registry for your trade.

Your own site

Missing service pages and city pages, whether your licence and years in business are shown, and whether AI search bots can read it.

A 30-day plan

A straight answer on limits

What nobody can change for you, and what we refuse to do.

What we can't do, said up front

  • We can't change your location. Distance to the customer is a confirmed factor for Google and ChatGPT, and nobody can fix it.
  • We won't buy, fake or filter reviews, or buy you "award" badges or paid list spots.
  • No one can guarantee AI mentions or rankings, including us. AI answers change from one ask to the next; this report shows what AI named and cited when I asked, and the gaps I found.

How delivery works: after you pay, you get a private link right away. I run the research with AI tools, check the listings and fix anything search got wrong, and your report appears at that link within 48 hours (PDF included). If it's late, you can have a full refund.

14-day refund, no questions. Refund terms

I use only public information: answers from OpenAI's API with web search, search results about directory listings, and your public website read by my scanner, which follows your robots.txt. I don't scrape Google Maps or Yelp. Card statements show INDUSTRIOUS PENNY.

Questions

How is this different from the $39 report?

The $39 report fixes your website so AI can read it. This one looks outward: who AI actually names for your trade and city, which sources it trusts, and where you're missing next to those businesses. A good website gets you in the running; listings, reviews and lists usually decide who gets named.

Which areas and trades?

HVAC, plumbing and electrical businesses in Ontario, with the most data for the Greater Toronto Area. Other trades or places: email support@industriouscrm.com before ordering.

Is it automated?

Partly. The questions, citations and website checks run automatically. Listing matches are checked by me before delivery, because search sometimes finds a business with the same name in another city. That's why it takes up to 48 hours.

Is ProScore worth paying for?

I don't know yet. ChatGPT cited ProScore often in our GTA test, but I haven't confirmed whether placement there is paid, so the report flags it as unverified. Don't pay for any list spot until you know how it works.
